Dear brethren and co-labouers in Christ:
It is a joy and a privilege once again to greet you, our faithful
brethren, in the blessed and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Our prayer for each and everyone is that our Lord
would bless you physically and spiritually. What a blessing it is to
be co-labouring with such wonderful and faithful brethren as you in
your respective places of service. It is so encouraging and we draw
such strength from the fact of knowing that you are supporting us
both financially and in your faithful prayers.
As the weather begins to warm up and even heat up here in this
valley we are still surrounded by snow-capped mountains. We are
constantly reminded that the God of the mountaintop is also just as
majestic and faithful in the valleys. Even though we are not, for
the time being, seeing a great harvest of success in this ministry
after one and a half years of existence, we know that the God of the
mountain and the valleys is in absolute control and we will continue
to trust Him and follow the guidance and direction of His Holy
Spirit.
We have had new visitors recently and some of them are coming back
at least for Sunday mornings. Please continue to pray that the word
of God will do its work in hearts. Continue to pray for the nursing
home ministry that we began about six months ago. God is truly
blessing with souls coming to salvation and folks coming back for
the services. We have one of the staff members attending our regular
church services and another one who has visited once. Our attendance
has been as high as 20. Just recently we had a man who had been
attending our services at the nursing home who passed away and I
believe that we will see him in heaven some day. We were also able
to minister to his family as he was passing away. You just never
know exactly all what God is doing with our lives. The only thing
that really matters is that He will receive all the glory and
praise.
Thank you once again for your faithfulness to these unworthy
servants of our Lord Jesus Christ for all the support and
encouragement that you are and have been to us. We love you all and
appreciate you. May He find us occupying at His coming. Dios les
bendiga y muchas gracias.
Yours in His name for His service,
Brother and Mrs. Sal Garcia
