Pastor and Brethren,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May this letter find you all in the best of health. Let us give thanks to the Lord for this. “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” “… a time to plant…a time to pluck up…a time to build up… a time to speak…” By His grace “He hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”. What a wonderful consideration! Let us seek Him to empower us to be faithful stewards of that which He hath given us. “Let us come boldly before the Throne of Grace,” where God is, and obtain grace and help in a time of need.

The past two months I have seen two men get released from prison. I have had the privilege to mentor these men. They have a chance to live for God and serve Him. It is not easy when a man has been incarcerated for 5 to 10 years and then enters into society. Please pray for those who are released.

In one the classes I teach, called “Quest for Manhood’, an inmate had just finished writing his home work on “looking back at my life”, He wrote how he hated his mother and her running the house with an iron rod. He realized he had a problem with hatred. He realized he needed to write his mother and apologize to her for his actions.

We must realize as individuals how our past can cause us to respond to the future in the wrong way. As this inmate studied the Bible he saw how God’s love works in our lives when we surrender to Him. This man with tears in his eyes explained to me he had learned a valuable lesson about being wounded (emotionally) by his Mother and holding hatred toward her. What a testimony from this young man.

I want to thank again the precious Saint that slipped some money into my hands. I will use it wisely for the ministry. I also want to thank the Bible Truth workers for their dedication to providing material, Bibles, and correspondence each and every month to all that request these studies.

I received your support offering for June and July. Thank you for being faithful in supporting me in the prison ministry. Please pray for the 31men that did make professions of faith for these two months.

Pray Requests:
1) Pray for our Church finances
2) Pray for our youth as they learn to stand in the gap

Thought to Ponder: "If you have no joy, there's a leak in your Christianity somewhere."

Because of Jesus Christ
